Chelsea, Girl Wonder

Chelsea, girl wonder, was Buddy's household companion. They went to many places together as a family, and even though Buddy sometimes went to the cottage without her because she would get fleas, Chelsea would not care where Buddy was going. She just wanted all the attention she could get. But whenever Chelsea went somewhere Buddy couldn't, he would always bark and plead to go with her. Chelsea is currently a 12-year old Golden Retriever, and she doesn't know where Buddy is, and does not seem to care. Sometimes, she would expect to see him at the door, but when the answer was no, she would go about doing her own things. This girl says she needs a little me-time once in a while!

Animal Miracle

When Chelsea got into trouble, Buddy was always there to protect her. When Chelsea would try to escape from the front porch of my grandparents' cottage, Buddy would always be right after her, making sure she would always be with him. But this time, Chelsea would need her whole family's help to get out of the doghouse, young lady.

It was nighttime, when Chellie and Bud would romp around the yard, getting ready to lay their last doodoos of the day. Since it was pretty dark, and the dogs would supposedly just stick to business, my aunt was just waiting for them inside, not paying attention to them in the near pitch black darkness out the door. Suddenly, Buddy was barking frantically, wailing for help in the night. My aunt was alerted right away, and ran outside. Chelsea, curiously investigating the new pool at their new house, had tried to walk over the surface of the pool cover, and was now swimming desperately in the cool water, Buddy right at the poolside, watching her helplessly. My aunt tried to lift her out, but Chelsea was too heavy for her. My uncle came outside to help in a bit, and they both struggled to lift Chellie out of the pool. What an effort! I believe Buddy ran over to Chelsea right away, and began licking her. After that, neither of them wandered into the pool again, and my aunt kept a closer eye on them.
