Pomeranians look like small, walking puffballs with fur that is combinations of gray, black, blue, orange, shaded brown, cream, or parti-coloured. Frequent brushing is necessary for its long coat. Of course, like humans are supposed to brush their teeth and hair everyday, dogs need this, too. Eyes and ears must also be checked for your pup's health. Since these are small dogs, they just need a huge play area to walk around in, and some walks would be nice, too, regularly. Dry shampoo is recommended for the tiny animal. Pomeranians have pointy muzzles and very fluffly tails. It tends to bark a lot, so it must be trained not to. If teeth are not brushed much, they might lose teeth (ewww). Overfeeding must not happen, and Pomeranians can get diabetes, dislocating knees, and heart problems, along with eye problems. Females are usually 7-9", like males, but weigh 4-6 lbs, whereas males weigh 3-5 lbs. Barking habits make this tiny ball of fluff a great watchdog, and they can fit into small apartments with areas for it to walk. Training is easy with this dog. Pomeranians also are lively, curious, and friendly (a great playmate)!
